Meet the Team

  • Brionna Pickens, M.A., CCC-SLP

    Owner/Speech-Language Pathologist

The Speech & Career Center is a vision from God! It’s his dream he called me to steward which is truly an honor. It was birthed from my passion to enhance the communication skills of children and adolescents all while incorporating functional activities they engage in during their daily lives. I truly believe all children have a purpose in our world. I’m driven and motivated to ensure the individuals we work with have the communication skills they need in order to contribute to and participate in their communities.

  • Dana Pipino, M.A., CCC-SLP

    SLP Clinic Lead

Proud team member & clinic lead of TSCC for the past 4 years and an SLP for 7 years. I am a graduate of Kent State University where I completed both my Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees. All of my clinical experience thus far has been with the pediatric population in the outpatient/private practice settings. I thrive in this setting because it allows me to develop strong & meaningful interpersonal relationships with the families I serve. It is a top priority of mine to work as a team with families to ensure that their kiddos meet a variety of functional speech, language, & communication milestones. When I’m not wearing my SLP hat, I love spending time with my husband, new puppy Nitro, family, & friends. I am always looking for new places to travel to & new coffee shops to try!

  • Janelle Barker

    Speech-Language Pathologist

Originally from Northeast Ohio, I attended The Ohio State University for my Bachelor’s degrees before graduating with my Master’s from Northwestern University. I am so excited to return to Columbus and join the TSCC team! I have always found joy in the complexity and curiosity of language learning and can’t wait to work with families in fun and functional ways. I look forward to being a part of the care team and developing positive relationships with the children we serve, their families, and the Columbus community.

  • Kaylea Jackson

    Student Volunteer

I am a student at Ohio University pursuing a degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences with the goal of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. My passion for the field was inspired by my sister, Diamond, who has cerebral palsy. Over the past 10 years, I’ve volunteered to work with individuals with disabilities, which fuels my commitment to inclusive education and helping every child find their voice and purpose.
